01 · PERSISTENCE
A world that keeps going
An island with weather, a day cycle and plants growing on their own clock. Everything is written to disk — when the machine restarts, the world picks up exactly where it stopped. Nothing is paused between streams. The mission day you see is the day he has lived.
02 · DECISION
A mind that chooses
A language model runs on a small machine at home. The simulation works out what is genuinely possible right now, and he picks what matters from that list and says why. He is never asked to guess coordinates or invent commands — which is why he can be wrong in interesting ways rather than broken ones.
03 · MEMORY
A memory he wrote himself
He keeps a journal and pins notes to the places he made them. He starts knowing nothing about the island and learns it by walking — what he has not seen does not exist to him. When he says he remembers something, he is reading a file he wrote.
04 · THE LIMITS
Said plainly
He is a small model on modest hardware, and it shows. He repeats himself, he sometimes believes something the world never told him, and he gets stuck. Our rule is to fix the world rather than script the robot. What you are watching is a model picking a next move, limits and all.
